Hung Tran started his apprenticeship at Blow! It's a Hair Thing on the 22nd of October 2006. While still an apprentice, he attended trade school where he would grasp onto the basic foundation of hairdressing however he believes that most valuable learning experience was from observing, listening and being surrounded by talented individuals within the salon.
The passion, commitment and loyalty to the brand has never been compromised as Hung has been with the salon since the very beginning. The ability to stay focussed, consistently work efficiently, advance technical skills and maintain excellence in customer service gave Hung the opportunity in 2013 to be co-owners with the founder, Steve La Bella and co-worker Dion La Bella.
The goals that have driven Hung to where he is today extends beyond becoming a business owner. With the right backing of business partners all having individual specific roles and the right team, the end goal is to create a salon culture where every team member exceeds all expectations with services, personality, consistency and technical abilities. An environment where opportunities are accessible and can be provided to team members who wants to heighten their contributions to the industry. The ultimate goal is to obtain the most prestigious award; Australian Hairdresser of The Year and to stand on the podium receiving the trophy with the support of the team beside him sharing his successes and standing proud to be part of a team that excels to be the best.
