We have known about it for a month now but the word is finally out! We are excited to announce and very sad a the same time that it will be Chantel’s last week. For the past year, she has been studying criminology as her passion has always been crimes & murder mysteries. She will be starting her exciting new role at the magistrates court as of next week. An incredible achievement as we are very proud of her.
Chantel has been with us for the past 9 years and ohhh boy, has the memories been amazing. We absolutely love her as she has always been the perfect employee. Front of house with a friendly smile that everyone has come to know and love, and a backup hairdresser when it gets manic in the salon. Forever at heart, always an OG Blowie! A tough shoe to fill as we will absolutely miss this girl!
If you want to say goodbye, she will be in all this week. Let’s give her the best send off and make her cry!!!

We just wanted to thank all our loyal clients that travel far and wide just to see us, and has supported us over the years, and our incredible team that consistently show up, works incredibly hard, and supports each other. Everyone from our suppliers, clients, team is like family to the business, and we can’t thank you enough.
As we reflect back on the year 2025, it was one of the hardest challenges the business had ever faced. We were a week away of bankruptcy as bills were mounting, we were literally homeless for 10 weeks, we had major setbacks at evrery turn and at times, we were left questioning ourselves, and whether we were even going to make it.
For those who are in unfortunate positions, we understand. No matter how hard things got… just remember that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Nobody said the journey itself would be easy, but hell… nobody told us it was going to be this hard either. For what it’s worth, we just wanted to show our gratitude and the biggest thanks to everyone who supported us. Cheers to everyone as we look forward to an incredible 2026. Lots of love from Blow.
